Your New Role
The Senior Project Manager is a newly created role and part of a hands on fully integrated project team. This position reports into the Director of Project Management. You will have 5 years prior project management experience, preferably ground up High-Rise development in Toronto. Your major responsibilities include: Draft scopes of work (SOW) in collaboration with the Project Team. Assist in defining and providing recommendations on project scope, including budget allowances. Lead the procurement/tendering process with support from internal and external resources. Actively manage all assigned projects to ensure delivery on schedule, within budget and to defined quality standard, from project initiation through to project close-out. Manage project risk, including identification and escalation throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee the transition from construction to stabilized operation, liaising closely with Tenant Experience and Operations. You will have a Professional demeanour, coupled with strong communication skills. A high degree of integrity, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality will be key to your success. A flexible with a “can-do” and “no task is too big or too small” attitude will go a long way in this business.
