They are seeking a Residential Building Maintenance Operator who can work independently, and manage multiple Residential properties and some retail in downtown Toronto. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the successful candidate will work with a team to maintain the cleanliness of a Residential portfolio located in Downtown Toronto. You will manage the building operations of a portfolio of residential buildings, including fire and life systems, mechanical, and electrical. You will support and assist in the maintenance of HVAC related concerns including boilers and chiller systems. You will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure third party contractors are properly managed and adhering to the SLAs. As the ideal candidate, you will have experience responding to tenant requests and preventative maintenance work orders in a timely manner. As part of a team, you will work core hours (9am - 5pm) and any overtime will be paid. To qualify for this position, you must have at least 2 years of Maintenance/Operation experience in either the Residential sector OR Commercial Real Estate. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and available for after-hour emergencies. BES 1 & 2 are assets, and any trade experience is a ‘nice to have’. Our Client offers a total compensation of around $50k including base, bonus, overtime pay, a full healthcare/benefits package, 3 weeks paid vacation, study support and opportunities for professional growth and development.
