Your New Role
Reporting to a supportive and respected Senior Director, Property Management, your position as Senior Property Manager will involve managing residential and retail assets in DT Toronto and leading a team of 20 real estate professionals. You will be a hands on leader who fosters a productive and collaborative culture and who ensures everybody is working at optimal levels, reaching their potential and towards team goals. You will be accountable for the operation, management and administration of the buildings as well as the managing of annual operating and capital budgets to ensure Clients' objectives are achieved. You will manage all aspects of the day to day operations by liaising with staff in areas such as accounting, leasing, asset management and tenant services. You will oversee receivables and collections, conduct building inspections, enforce contract and lease agreements and ensure property security, safety and operating systems. To qualify for this position, you must have at least 10 years of progressive experience in Property Management with BOTH residential AND retail assets. Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is required. An industry designation is an asset - CPM or RPA. You will have a positive, assertive and resilient personality, strong leadership experience, solid financial acumen, possession of integrity, honesty and dedication to providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Our Client offers a base salary up to $115,000 depending on experience, a performance bonus, a full healthcare/benefits package, study support, 3-4 weeks paid vacation and opportunities for professional growth and development.
